		Located near Junction 2 of the M3 and Junction 11 and 13 of the M25, the club is situated at Penton Hook Marina which is opposite the Thorpe Park entrance on the A320. More

		Membership We are a non-profit making club and we are always very keen to encourage new members. So, if you would like to join, just call into the clubhouse and talk to any one of our duty committee officers. More

EVENTS

At the beginning of each year, members receive a copy of the club's diary of events from which they can pick and choose. It's a comprehensive programme that covers a wide range of boating and social interests throughout the year.

Non-Tidal Cruises	Bank Holidays and longer periods.
Tidal Cruises	To Ramsgate, France and Belgium.
RYA Navigation	Approved RYA courses conducted during the winter months.
Boat Handling	For beginners and the more experienced, instructions courses can be arrange.
Annual Functions	Annual Dinner Dance, Xmas and New Year's Parties, Ladies Supper, Fitting Out Supper, St Valentine's and Halloween Dances.
Social Evenings	Pool and Darts matches with other clubs, Discos, Barbecues, Race Nights, Country and Western, Bring 'n' Buy Sales, etc.
Sail Past	A formal event in respect of the club's Commodore followed by a Wine and Cheese Party.
Annual Regatta	The high point of the summer season. Held on the first Sunday of July, the Regatta is open to the visiting public. With many attractions, it is a great day out for all the family.

The Penton Hook Yacht Club is always well represented at major boating events and competitions. The ATYC Rally, the RNLI Regatta, to name but a few. PHYC can boast an impressive array of trophies which are on display at the clubhouse.
